John Norton spent more than 30 years in the newspaper business, starting as a cub reporter for the Greenville Daily News and he recently retired from the industry as publisher of the Pioneer Group in Big Rapids. Now beginning an encore career as a communications specialist for Spectrum Health, he enjoys golfing, fishing, auction sales and spending time chasing his two young grandsons.
