  • Healthy snacks
  • Dance and movement classes
  • Belly dancing
  • Line dancing
  • Zumba
  • Yoga
  • Tai Chi
  • And more!

“Every ‘body’ can benefit by incorporating dance into an exercise routine, so we invite you to join with families in our community by dancing to a variety of music for all generations at Day of Dance,” said Brenda Dulaney-Connell, RN, MSN, Day of Dance coordinator. “When done on a regular basis as a form of exercise, dancing can burn as many calories as swimming, walking or riding a bike. Gerber Memorial is thrilled to participate in this nationwide overall health initiative in Newaygo.”
